The Central Baptist Church is a progressive and innovative church family with a theme of “Reclaiming Our Families Through Patience, Perseverance, and Prayer.”  We have a myriad of talents and gifts within our church body.  We believe in the holistic approach to ministry, and we have over forty ministries to help the total person.  Our church family is friendly and faithful…and truly the Favor of God is upon us.  We are excited about the vision that God has placed upon the ministry of this church.  God never gives a vision without making provisions!

Congratulations to our Youth Ministry as they celebrate their 53rd anniversary on Sunday, October 23, 2016 during the 11:00 am worship service.

The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. The mobile mammogram will be returning in the month of November. Scheduling of dates will be provided later in the month.

Christmas @ Central sponsors are needed to adopt families. All ministries and members are asked to participate. Sponsor forms are available at the front and rear entrances. Please submit completed sponsor forms to the church office by Monday, October 31st. Monetary donations may be submitted to the church office as soon as possible but no later than Friday, November 18th. Family adoption applications for members and the community may now be obtained in the church office.

Our quarterly seed offering will be lifted on Sunday, October 30th during our 8:00 and 11:00 am worship services.

The annual youth Harvest Festival will be held on Saturday, October 29th from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

The United Voices will have choir rehearsal on Thursday, October 27th at 6:00 pm.

The Golden Voices will have choir rehearsal on Wednesday, October 26th, at 4:00 pm.

The youth and young adult ministry will have choir rehearsal on Saturday, October 22nd at 10:00 am.

Pastor Ezell's Itinerary: First Calvary Baptist Church - 1401 Pine Street - Tuesday, October 25th, 7pm; United Voices will render music.

Women’s Ministry Events: Women's Conference, Saturday, October 22nd, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Theme: "No More Crumbs." Our speaker is Rev. Michelle Newman from Rock Hill, S.C. Sign up will be held each Sunday before and after worship services in front of the church and in the vestibule. Sign up is required. There will be a $20 registration fee for adults and it is free for students. Please contact any member of the Women's Ministry for additional details.

All 2017 high school graduates are asked to call the church office to list their names and contact information.

If you would like to serve on the Public Relations Ministry, please call the church office to give your name.

All young adults (ages 18 to 35 years of age) are encouraged to come out and support our Young Adult Sunday School Program. Class will be held each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in room102. It will be an interactive and exciting time of exploring God's Word. We hope to see you there!!!

We would like to thank our church family for their faithfulness in our stewardship efforts. Our membership has been faithful in the rendering of their time, talent, and tithes. God always rewards us for our faithfulness.

The Central Baptist Church Male Chorus invites all interested members to join the male chorus ministry. Rehearsals are held every 4th Thursday evening of the month at 6:00 p.m. For more information, please contact Deacon Willie Bryant.

The Veteran's Ministry is available to meet on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. Help is available for VA matters for all male and female veterans as well as their family members. Contact the church office to schedule an appointment.

Central Baptist Transportation Ministry is in need of drivers. If you are a member and have an interest in joining our Transportation Ministry, please call the church office to submit your name.

Central Baptist members are asked to submit their email address to the church office by forwarding an email to the church's email address @ info@centralbaptistcolumbia.org. Our goal is to get information out to the church family quickly by using all available technology.

Auxiliaries/Ministries desiring to have upcoming events announced must submit information to the church office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.
