Our annual Black History worship service will be held on next Sunday. All members are asked to dress in African attire.

Save the Date: Central Baptist Church Education Ministry presents a Career & Resource Expo, Saturday, March 21, 10:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. This event will be held at the Central Baptist Church Family Life Center. This is an opportunity to meet with potential employers to include: Military Branches, WIOA, Retail, Construction, Contractors, Law Enforcement and Local Businesses. A sign-up sheet is located in the vestibule to determine your interest in attending this event. Report Cards for the 2nd marking period are now due. All copies of report cards submitted must have the Ministry Participation form attached to receive Honor Roll recognition. The deadline to submit your report card is Tuesday, February 18th, 5:00 p.m. The participation forms are located at both entrances to the church or the forms can be downloaded from our website at

Congratulations to our pastor as he celebrates his 23rd Pastoral Anniversary. Our church family will officially celebrate his anniversary on the third Sunday in April.

Central Baptist Church Transportation Ministry is in need of drivers. (Males or Females over the age of 21). If you are a member and have an interest in joining our Transportation Ministry, please call the church office to submit your name.

All 2020 High School and College graduates are asked to contact the church office to give your name and contact information to the church secretary.

All Auxiliaries/Ministries desiring to have upcoming events, meetings or choir rehearsals must call the church office to schedule no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Central Baptist Church Noon Day and Evening Bible Study classes are held on Wednesdays at 12 noon and 6:00 p. m. Come out and study God's word. We are studying spiritual gifts.

All individuals who are signed up to work the Transition Homeless Center, Central is still volunteering. We are working the 6:30 a.m. and the 11:30 a.m. shifts. If you would like to volunteer, Central Baptist Church will serve the 1st Saturday of each month. The Girl Scouts are now registering for enrollment for ages K-5 thru 12th grade. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. Interested girls and their parents can contact the church office for more information.

Sunday School classes begin at 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. each Sunday.

All young adults (ages 18 to 35 years of age) are encouraged to come out and support our Young Adult Sunday School Program. Class will be held each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in Room 102. It will be an interactive and exciting time of exploring God's Word. We hope to see you there!!!

The Media Ministry is seeking new members. Please sign-up at the media booth at the end of the 8:00 and 11:00 a.m. worship services.

The new Honor Roll Recognition Guidelines are as follows: All students in grades 1 - 12 must submit copies of report cards by the requested deadline. All students submitting report cards must also attach a Youth Ministry Participation Form to demonstrate that they are actively participating in a ministry.

Central Baptist Church recently organized a Young Adult Choir for ages 18 and above. Those desiring membership are asked to call the church office to sign up.

The Veteran's Ministry is available to meet on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. Help is available for VA matters for all male and female veterans as well as their family members. Contact the church office to schedule an appointment.
