The Central Baptist Church is a progressive and innovative church family with a theme of “Reclaiming Our Families Through Patience, Perseverance, and Prayer.”  We have a myriad of talents and gifts within our church body.  We believe in the holistic approach to ministry, and we have over forty ministries to help the total person.  Our church family is friendly and faithful…and truly the Favor of God is upon us.  We are excited about the vision that God has placed upon the ministry of this church.  God never gives a vision without making provisions!

The Youth Department would like to thank everyone for their donations towards the youth trip to Carowinds. They had an amazing time. Thank you to all who made this trip possible through your generous donations. Thanks to all chaperones who attended to ensure the safety of our youth. Thanks to all of our youth leaders for your dedication and time in putting this trip together. Your efforts do not go unnoticed. Thanks to Pastor Ezell for always providing the best for us because he expects the best from us. We wish all of our youth a successful school year as this Summer break comes to an end. We pray for another successful school year. We Expect Great Things From You Because Greatness Is Within You. You are a child of the King.

Central Baptist Church will celebrate Men's Day on Sunday, September 27th during our Morning Worship Service. We are honored to welcome Rev. Bruce Wright, retired pastor of Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church of Aiken, South Carolina, as our guest speaker. All men are asked to make a spiritual donation of $100.00. Men's Day Choir Rehearsals are scheduled on Thursdays, September 3rd, September 10th, September 17th at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, 26th at 10:00 a.m. Men's Day Ties are available for $20.00. We encourage all men to participate as we prepare for this meaningful day of worship, fellowship and celebration.

Pastor Ezell will be the guest preacher at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, located at 1804 Wilkinson Street, Cayce, South Carolina, on Monday, August 10th at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Dr. Danny Swilley is the pastor. The Praise Team will accompany Pastor Ezell.

Pastor Ezell will be the guest revivalist at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Ridgeway, South Carolina beginning on Wednesday, July 29th through Friday, July 31st. The service will begin at 7:00 p.m. The church is located at 4991 Park Road, Ridgeway, South Carolina. Rev. Marcello R. Wheeler, Sr., is the pastor.

ATTENTION: Rising High School Seniors (2026-2027) - If you will be a rising high school senior for the 2026-2027 school year, please contact the church office with your name and current contact information. We want to ensure you receive important announcements and are included in upcoming Senior Recognition events.

The Education Ministry invites all students and families to our Back-To-School Supply Giveaway on Sunday, July 26th, immediately following the morning worship service. School supplies for students in Kindergarten through College will be distributed while supplies last. We pray God's blessings upon every student, educator, and family for a successful school year.

Parents, if your child is five years old or older and wants to participate with The Vessel of Praise Inspiration Praise Dancers, please call the church office and give your name. We would be happy to include your child.

Join us for our Noon Day Prayer and Devotional Message every Wednesday at 12:00 noon. Our Evening Bible Study will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 pm every Wednesday with a more in-depth study of God's Word. Both services will be on Face Book Live. Central Missionary Baptist Church Sunday School Adult Class is held in our Family Life Center. The class convenes at 9:00 a.m. sharp! Come join us as we study God's Word.

The Central Baptist Church membership team is updating our list of current members to ensure we possess accurate contact information for each member. The Health and Wellness Ministry at Central Baptist Church is looking for nurses to assist during worship services. If you're interested, please call the church office at 803-252-3742 to submit your name.

Transportation for Sunday morning service is now available. If you need transportation to Sunday morning worship service, please call the church office on Monday through Thursday before noon to give your name.

Central Baptist Church Youth Primary Sunday School Class (ages 4 – 10) will be held each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in Room 104.

COVID-19 safety protocols are still in place. Face masks are optional at this time and social distancing is still being observed at all in-person services.

Please drop your tithe and offering in the tithe box closest to your entrance as you enter the sanctuary on Sunday mornings. Thank you in advance.

Pastor Ezell will be sending out information by mail as well as other forms of contact. Please call the church if you are not sure if your current address, phone number, email, etc. is on file. Our goal is to get information out to the church family quickly by using all available technology.

Central Baptist Church Transportation Ministry is in need of drivers. (Males or Females over the age of 21). If you are a member and have an interest in joining our Transportation Ministry, please call the church office to submit your name.
