I would like to thank everyone for your prayers, cards, phone calls and expressions of love shown during the passing of my sister. Your kindness means so much to me and my family. The SC State Fair will be here in Columbia, SC on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Central Baptist Church normally sponsor an outing with our Senior Citizens on the first day of the fair. If you are a senior citizen at Central Baptist Church, ages 65 and older and are interested in going to the fair, please call the church office at 803-252-3742 and give your name. We would love to fellowship with you.

The Central Baptist Church Senior Ushers are celebrating their 93rd Anniversary on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Congratulations to our Ushers Ministry for all you do. “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.'” – Matthew 25:23

The NAACP – Columbia Branch 38th Annual Awards Gala will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center – 1100 Lincoln Street, Columbia, SC 29201. Seating will begin at 6:15 p.m. with the Gala starting at 7:00 p.m. Central Baptist Church have a limited number of tickets available on a first come, first served basis. Please call the church office if you are interested in receiving a complimentary ticket.

Transportation for Sunday morning service is now available. If you need transportation to Sunday morning worship service, please call the church office on Monday through Thursday before noon to give your name.

Central Baptist Church Youth Primary Sunday School Class (ages 4 – 10) will be held each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in Room 104.

COVID-19 safety protocols are still in place. Face masks are optional at this time and social distancing is still being observed at all in-person services.

Please drop your tithe and offering in the tithe box closest to your entrance as you enter the sanctuary on Sunday mornings. Thank you in advance.

Central Baptist Church Transportation Ministry is in need of drivers. (Males or Females over the age of 21). If you are a member and have an interest in joining our Transportation Ministry, please call the church office to submit your name.
