Sunday, November 8, 2026, we celebrate our 94th Church Anniversary. To God be all the glory, honor, and praise for allowing Central Baptist Church to mark 94 years of His faithfulness, grace, and unfailing love! As we celebrate this blessed milestone, we prayerfully ask each member to contribute $100 toward our 94th Church Anniversary as we honor God for all He has done and continues to do throughout the years.

CENTRAL BAPTIST CHURCH CHRISTMAS MASS CHOIR 'Tis the season to lift our voices in praise and worship! The Central Baptist Church Christmas Mass Choir will minister in song during our Morning Worship Service on Sunday, December 20th. Rehearsals will be held at 6:00 p.m. on the following Thursdays: November 19th - December 3rd - December 10th - December 17th. All choirs and church members are invited and encouraged to come together and lift their voices in song as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Central Baptist Church Administrative Offices will be closed Wednesday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day.

CENTRAL BAPTIST CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENT Good morning, Central Baptist Church Family. In accordance with the church Bylaws, the Pastoral Search Committee's recommendation will establish the nomination for the position of Pastor. The Pastoral Call Meeting is scheduled for: Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at 6:00 PM. We will elect our next pastor during this meeting. Our members are encouraged to attend and participate in this important decision. May God continue to guide and bless Central Baptist Church.

Report Cards for the 1st marking period of the 2026-2027 school term are now due. Please place all copies in the mailbox at the back entrance. The deadline to submit your copy is Tuesday, November 10th, at 3:00 p.m. Parents, please remember that progress and interim reports are not acceptable.

Pastoral Search Committee Update After reviewing 40 applications according to the congregation’s established pastoral profile and requirements, the committee selected three qualified candidates. ATTENTION: Rising High School Seniors (2026-2027) - If you will be a rising high school senior for the 2026-2027 school year, please contact the church office with your name and current contact information. We want to ensure you receive important announcements and are included in upcoming Senior Recognition events.

Parents, if your child is five years old or older and wants to participate with The Vessel of Praise Inspiration Praise Dancers, please call the church office and give your name. We would be happy to include your child.

Join us for our Noon Day Prayer and Devotional Message every Wednesday at 12:00 noon. Our Evening Bible Study will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 pm every Wednesday with a more in-depth study of God's Word. Both services will be on Face Book Live. You may also view our evening Bible Study by logging on our website at www.centralbaptistcolumbia.org or YouTube.

Central Missionary Baptist Church Sunday School Adult Class is held in our Family Life Center. The class convenes at 9:00 a.m. sharp! Come join us as we study God's Word.

The Central Baptist Church membership team is updating our list of current members to ensure we possess accurate contact information for each member. We ask that every member complete and submit the blue membership card. Once filled out, you can either return it to an usher or place it in the offering basket. Thank you for your cooperation in completing this project.

The Health and Wellness Ministry at Central Baptist Church is looking for nurses to assist during worship services. If you're interested, please call the church office at 803-252-3742 to submit your name.

Transportation for Sunday morning service is now available. If you need transportation to Sunday morning worship service, please call the church office on Monday through Thursday before noon to give your name.

Central Baptist Church Youth Primary Sunday School Class (ages 4 – 10) will be held each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in Room 104.

COVID-19 safety protocols are still in place. Face masks are optional at this time and social distancing is still being observed at all in-person services.

Please drop your tithe and offering in the tithe box closest to your entrance as you enter the sanctuary on Sunday mornings. Thank you in advance.

Pastor Ezell will be sending out information by mail as well as other forms of contact. Please call the church if you are not sure if your current address, phone number, email, etc. is on file. Central Baptist members are asked to submit their email address to the church office by forwarding an email to the church's email address @ [email protected]. Our goal is to get information out to the church family quickly by using all available technology.

Central Baptist Church Transportation Ministry is in need of drivers. (Males or Females over the age of 21). If you are a member and have an interest in joining our Transportation Ministry, please call the church office to submit your name.
